6th Annual Heroes on the Court
3 on 3 Basketball Tournament
This tournament consist of two conferences;
Blue and Red
Each Conference will have Two Divisions.
"A" 40 & Over and Division
"B" Under 40 Division
3 players plus one sub per team.
Each team will play (3) games to determine
playoff seeding. Each made basket will count
as 1 point. First team to score 7 points or
the team with the most points after the
game clock expires wins.
Each game will be timed (5 minutes). If time
expires and the teams are tied, a sudden death
point is required. (3-point shootout).
Top 8 teams (records) from each conference
will make the playoffs.
Prizes & Trophies for each conference champion.

Another Great Success!
The 28th Annual Gala was held on Friday October 11, 2019
at the Galloping Hill Golf Course Banquet Hall, 3 Golf Drive, Kenilworth, NJ.
Our honorees and guest enjoyed a night that started with a cocktail reception than a fabulous dinner. Freestyle Legends Nayobe and Noel performed along with DJ Ponzio. The photo booth was a great hit. Guest Emcee Mike Oquendo, Chicago based Producer/Promoter kept the night going with the fun game of Head or Tails.
Sal Garcia of MAS Corp, William Lavin, founder of Where Angels Play Foundation, Jessica Martinez from City of Elizabeth Supervisor for Senior Activities and Ralph Salermo president of MAR Acquisition Group were the honorees. We congratulate our honorees and thank all our sponsors and guest.

HLEAUC partners with PACO AGENCY
to host Law Enforcement Entry Level Prep Course
On August 1, 2019, HLEAUC, President Louis Demondo announced a partnership with the PACO Agency of Hudson County to offer a NO-COST 3-Day Prep Course for ANYONE preparing to take the NJ State Issued Civil Service Law Enforcement Exam. The course will be taught by a certified instructor.
The 3-Day Prep Course was administered by the PACO Agency on Tuesday October 1, Wednesday October 2, and Thursday October 3, 2019. Over 400 students registered and each night attendance was at capacity.
A special thank you to Union County College, Freeholder Sergio Granados, City of Elizabeth, Elizabeth Police Traffic Division and Union County Police.
